The Pauline Doctrine, in a nutshell, is a Greek appropriate sound bite driven mistranslated intentional twisting of what Sha’ul wrote… called Replacement Theology:

·         The Law has been abolished for Grace

·         The Roman Church has replaced Israel

·         The NT replaced the OT

·         Rome replaced Jerusalem

·         The Catholic Priesthood replaced the Priesthood of Levi

·         “Jesus H. Christ” replaced the name Yahusha the Messiah

·         “Roman Citizen Paul” replaced the Hebrew Apostle Rav Sha’ul the Nazarene

·         The Trinity replaced Yahuah

·         Baptism replaced Mikveh

·         Salvation is based solely on Grace with no works of The Law required. In fact, if you attempt to be obedient to The Law you offend Grace and are damned.

 

All attributed to the Apostle Rav Sha’ul, who has been presented to us as a Roman citizen and former Jew, who rejected Judaism for Christianity. This false image of Sha’ul is as destructive as the false image of Yahusha known as Jesus the Roman demi-god. Yahusha and Sha’ul were the two most influential Nazarene teachers in history. To create “Christianity” these two Nazarenes had to be minimized, marginalized, and incorporated into the Greek Hellenized world.

This Pauline Doctrine is a lie and twists Sha’ul’s writings to contradict himself, Yahuah, The Law, the Prophets, and the Messiah Yahusha’s own words. In fact, if you believe The Pauline Doctrine (as it is taught in the pagan Christian Church) you are left with just “Paul” as the source of your Faith, because no other writer throughout the entire Scriptures ever support that doctrine (not even Sha’ul!). If you believe in The Pauline Doctrine, then “Paul” stands alone in contrast to every other man mentioned from Adam to Enoch to Noah to Abraham to Isaac to Jacob to the all the Prophets, Judges, Kings all the way down to Yahusha and even all the Nazarenes of the early ecclesia for 300 years until the Council of Nicaea (who based their understanding on Sha’ul!). All of which kept The Torah and worshipped the One and Only Elohim, Whose Name is ‘Yahuah’. Not one man in the entire Bible, or early ecclesia, kept Sunday, Easter, Christmas or worshipped the Trinity. NO ONE! Not one man in that long line of sons of Yahuah EVER believed anything close to The Pauline Doctrine or Incarnation! Not even Sha’ul, as we are about to find out!

I am going to prove that Sha’ul never believed in anything other than the Torah, (which he kept and taught), and that he was obedient to the Sabbaths and Holy days, he taught the Messiah (in light of the Prophets and Torah), and was uniquely qualified to teach how Yahusha Fulfilled The Law… as Yahusha transposed The Law from written in stone to written on our hearts. Yes “Transposition” is at the heart of Sha’ul writings just like it was the message of Yahusha’s ministry. I explain the concepts of Transposition and Progressive Revelation in my book, The Kingdom.

Sha’ul was just like every other man of Yahuah from Genesis to Revelation. In fact, Sha’ul was instrumental in the growth of the early “church” or rather Nazarene Ecclesia… Who do you suppose taught these early assemblies to keep The Torah, Sabbaths, and Holy Days for the first 300 years (until 300 AD when Constantine outlawed the things Holy to Yahuah and forced sun worship on humanity)?

Sha’ul did!

It was Constantine and the Greeks who twisted Sha’ul’s writings into a lie. His writings were further twisted by the famous “Reformers” who are close to being worshipped in Christian Protestant circles. In the modern English Bible, which is full of errors, Sha’ul writings bear no resemblance to his teachings. Only in modern times is Yahuah moving to restore His Word and give us eyes to see ‘beyond the abomination’ known as The English Bible (with all its ‘intentional’ mistranslations, additions, and subtractions to support ‘Babylonian Sun Worship’).

It is only now, in recent modern times with new discoveries such as the Dead Sea Scrolls and other modern techniques and archeological discoveries, that we can identify these errors. Only now can we overcome them to restore the Word of Yahuah and recreate, to the best of our abilities, what the original writings in Hebrew said before Constantine burned them.

All the translations attempt a word for word translation, leaving much to be understood, as context and the Hebraic Mindset is ignored in that translation technique… we are still in the position of not understanding the language/cultural matrix the Scriptures were written in putting us in dire need of anointed teachers gifted by Yahuah.  Yahuah is raising up a number among us and giving them the burning desire and Wisdom, to go back and do the needed research, to restore the language/matrix of the first century and properly teach the New Testament/Yahushaic Covenant in light of the Scriptures, in context. These are men with the GIFT of teaching.

I want to point out a quote from the book, Ancient Near Eastern Thought, and the Old Testament: Introducing the Conceptual World of the Hebrew Bible it states a very real truth:

“Since communication requires a common ground of understanding both the speaker and the audience must do what they can to enter that common ground. For the speaker, that often requires accommodating the audience. One uses words (representing ideas) that the audience will understand thus, by definition, accommodating the target audience.

When that common core of understanding exists between the speaker and the audience, the author will not bother to explain himself to the understanding audience. But if at a later date, an uninformed person not associated with the common core of understanding reads the book and they are not native to the language/cultural matrix, then much work must be done by the reader to seek out additional information and explanation. If someone outside the language/cultural matrix wants to take advantage of the information, they must adapt to the unfamiliar language/cultural matrix within which the book is written.

This is the case today with the Holy Scriptures. Both, when attempting to understand the Torah and Prophets, but also when attempting to understand the Gospels and writings of The Yahushaic Covenant. To truly understand the writings, we call “Scripture”, we must transcend our modern language/cultural matrix and put ourselves in the proper mindset of the Hebrew language/cultural matrix that existed thousands of years ago…and most people do not have the time to do this; so this job falls on the shoulders of those anointed by Yahuah to do it for them…. Teachers. Yes, we need Teachers, “the Rauch” is not all we need! That too, is a sound bite lie!

 

So says the one in complete deception! That is the declaration of a fool!

A wise man will hear (and keep his mouth shut) and increase in learning, and a man of understanding will acquire wise counsel!

If I have heard that once, I have had to listen to that rebellion against His anointed teachers a million times! If you are reading this book that obviously does not apply to you as I am a teacher and you are heading my ‘wise counsel’. Most of the masses today have totally lost contact with The Yahushaic Covenant and the concept of ‘discipleship’ which is why the masses are so misled. The body functions as a whole and teachers are vital to its survival.

A lie from the pit of hell is "all I need is the Ruach! I need nothing else and I do not follow any man". Teaching is a Spiritual Gift given to a very select few (read 1 Corinthians 12). The Body functions as all individual parts submit to the others. The Ruach is a GUIDE as you seek out a mentor to lead you into knowledge and understanding then study and apply yourself (as I will demonstrate).

This lie, ‘that all you need is the Ruach’, is easily proven to be a lie. Almost EVERYONE is lost in total deception by the FALSE Ruach... Incarnation! Exactly as we were warned! There are as many "interpretations" as there are people, so how is that the Ruach has created such confusion? Because it is not true… ‘that all we need is the Ruach’ and teachers are not required. The problem is there are too many self-appointed teachers and very few truly anointed ones.

We better wise up as a body... The Ruach is a guide, not a personal tutor... mentors are being raised up by Yahuah and He speaks to them, and they instruct the masses as the Ruach leads us to those anointed men, and then guides our search for the Truth.

33 “Those (few) who are wise will instruct many, though for a time they will fall by the sword or be burned or captured or plundered. 34 When they fall, they will receive a little help, and many (self-appointed teachers) who are not sincere will join them. 35 Some of the wise will stumble, so that they may be refined, purified, and made spotless until the time of the end, for it will still come at the appointed time.

 

Each of us should have mentors, counselors, and elders we look up to for instruction.

Now the "sound bite implied lie"...

John 14:26

"But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said to you.

Notice... the Ruach "brings to remembrance all that Yahusha has said”. Yahusha was speaking as a Teacher. In other words, you need the Ruach + teachers, not just the Ruach. If the teacher did not exist, there would be nothing for the Ruach to bring to your remembrance! We are reading words penned by men who lived 2000-5000 years ago, in a language/cultural matrix outside our knowledge and understanding. In other words, we need teachers to bridge this language/culture gap and who understand The Mystery Language and follow The Ancient Enochian Path!

In Sha’ul’s case as a teacher, his audience 2000 years ago, was a familiar audience and they existed on common ground. Sha’ul simply did not need explain himself to an audience that was already familiar with the language and the culture. Even then, Sha’ul and Yahusha veiled their speech in what is called The Mystery Language so the Ruach would be required to unlock the understanding.

Sha’ul had no idea a simple private letter he wrote would someday be elevated to the level of “inspired Words of Yahuah” (in error, as Sha’ul was a teacher, not a Prophet) and then canonized into something called The Bible and studied by cultures around the world. Had he been privy to this future Knowledge, I am quite sure his letters would have become books hundreds of pages long, to properly explain himself in the language and cultural matrix he lived. Much like the books I write! He would have gone to great lengths to explain complex ideas and topics, knowing this future audience would be from another language/culture matrix all together. Sha’ul did not know this and his letters are very short and a great deal of knowledge and information was already shared between Sha’ul and the person or assembly to whom he was writing. So Sha’ul did not see the need to elaborate on many ideas; they were assumed. This is where the opportunity to twist the Scriptures presents itself to those who are not anointed.

 

We, as the reader, must put in much effort to put ourselves into the Hebraic mindset of 2000 years ago, and be mindful of the language and cultural barrier. Even then we must be anointed with the understanding of The Mystery Language by Yahuah to teach. This is what anointed teachers bring to the table. Instead, we have been conditioned to believe that Yahusha and Sha’ul (and the other writers in the Yahushaic Covenant) communicated and wrote in Latin! Latin was a transitional language to the Jews of the Second Temple period, it was not their native tongue. There is ‘zero’ chance that the early believers, made up of exclusively of Hebrew Nazarenes, communicated in anything other than their native Hebrew tongue. We must admit to ourselves, the effects of Rome ‘winning’ the Roman/Jewish Wars and what that effect had; not only in history, but in the Bibles that we have in our hands today! We need to study the history of the early church, how Christianity was created, and admit (and research) that Constantine burned all the original Hebrew texts after the Council of Nicaea, to hide what was done to humanity at that Council. Humanity was given Constantine’s existing religion, The Cult of Sol Invictus, and the Scriptures altered to support that religion.

That is why the earliest version of the NT writings we have today, are no earlier than 300 years after the Messiah’s death and written in Latin (The Council of Nicaea was 300 AD!). These later Latin versions were translated from Hebrew originals but they were altered by the pagan Latin scribes to support pagan Greek Hellenism and sun worship. I explain all of this in great detail in my book, Christianity and the Great Deception.

So, this is our challenge today in the modern age, some 2000 years removed from the first advent of the Messiah. We must restore back to these earliest writings, their Hebrew framework and put ourselves (as much as we can) into the proper language/cultural matrix in which the books in The Yahushaic Covenant were written. We must literally go back to the drawing board and cast aside the last 2000 years of Roman biased interpretations and effects of Hellenism.

I want to provide some guidance in how we all should approach the Scriptures. The Below rules are the guidelines that I follow in order to ensure the conclusions and doctrines that I teach are accurate, true, and provable:

Rule #1: A Firm Foundation.

As with any discipline, to master that discipline you must first have a foundation. You must know "the big picture" and approach the details properly with that big picture in mind. Otherwise you will get lost in the details and misinterpret them. "You can't see the forest for all the trees!".

This is why we fall for sound bite doctrines, we do not understand the Big Picture to realize they violate the master plan which is laid out in The Heavenly Scroll.

Rule #2: The Hebraic Mindset.

The Faith in the Bible is the Faith of the Hebrews... not Greeks. Everything must be understood in that frame of mind called The Hebraic Mindset. You don't have to "speak Hebrew". Jews have spoken it for 2,000 years and are no closer to realizing Yahusha is their Messiah. All you need is good reference material, concordances, and a Hebrew to English interlinear reference.

Rule #3: Progressive Disclosure.

The Scriptures are one accord. There are no discrepancies and no contradictions. Every doctrine is established with Scripture Interpreting Scripture (not tradition) as everything must be established "line upon line, precept upon precept". Yahuah revealed His Word progressively over time through Covenants, prophecies, teachings, etc. which build on The Heavenly Scroll, further revealed over time from Genesis to Revelation to reveal The Plan of Salvation and The Kingdom of Yahuah.

Rule #4: Know what is ‘Scripture’ and what is commentary.

Every word contained in the Bible is not "Scripture". Some books have weight as The Word of Yahuah and others are simply human commentary by His sons who are anointed… but fallible and at time even argue among each other.

Rule #5: Understand the Covenants in Scripture.

Covenant theology opposes replacement theology. Each Covenant is built on the one before it, as the 6 previous Covenants culminate into The Yahushaic Covenant which is defined by the previous 6. No Covenant stands alone.

We must understand the basic structure of all Covenants. Every Covenant has two signatories to it. Yahuah and the human mediator that represents the rest of mankind. Every Covenant has stated goals, objectives, and standards laid out in the "terms and conditions". These terms and conditions remain the same from the Edenic to The Yahushaic Covenant.

Rule #6: Transposition.

Nothing has ever been abolished, simply transposed from the physical representation to its Spiritual reality.

Rule #7: Physical to Spiritual Parallels.

For every physical example in Scripture, there is a more important Spiritual parallel it was designed to teach us. The physical is not the point but rather a training aid, a tutor, to guide us into understanding a Spiritual Kingdom we cannot see, feel, taste, hear, or touch.

Rule #8: Intent trumps the "letter".

Yahuah has a purpose behind your life, and that purpose is to develop within us a ‘loving obedient heart’. That is accomplished first by adherence to the letter as children because we do not yet "understand".

As we mature, that letter bears Fruit within us and we mature to the ‘higher level’ of Obedience to the ‘intent’, then… we enter a state of Divine Liberty from the letter.

Rule #9: Context.

Everything should be kept in context. From The Heavenly Scroll through the Earthly Scrolls. They should agree and be understood in context of each other. Context should be kept as follows:

• Textual Context: never sound bite a Scripture. It must be kept in the context of what is being written around it.
  
• Author Context: every Scripture must be understood in the context of all the writing of that author. For Sha'ul, you cannot understand Galatians outside of understanding EVERY letter he wrote.
  
• Scriptural Context: The New Testament cannot be understood outside of the Old Testament. The "Old Testament" cannot be understood outside of the context of The Heavenly Scroll.
  
• Historical Context: The Scriptures are understood within the context of the time in history, the society, the place humanity existed at that time relative to progressive revelation.
  
• Spiritual Context: Scripture is understood only in context of physical to Spiritual Parallels.

Rule #10: GET A GOOD TRANSLATION OF SCRIPTURE.

The only one I know of, properly translated with zero Incarnation references, or implications, properly translated in the Hebraic Mindset, with the Big Picture kept in perspective is... The Book of Yahweh. No other translation even comes close... none.

Rule #10. a: Read my book, The Kingdom!

Mentorship is one of the fundamental doctrines in Scripture. Find an anointed teacher and stop talking and LISTEN. Stop teaching and LEARN. You are not even close to qualified to teach until you have been properly mentored into the Faith by a Nazarene as Yahusha was with John, the disciples with Yahusha, Sha'ul with Gamaliel, Elisha with Elijah, and so forth.

I have written, what I believe, is the only book ever written (The Kingdom) to teach us all how to study Scripture, as laid out above. I give examples of each rule in this book, then I lay down the foundation we all MUST have, if we are ever going to truly understand what we read. In my book, The Kingdom, after explaining "how" to study the Scriptures, I define The Kingdom which is the ‘Gospel Message’. The Gospel is NOT "God came to Earth to die as a man to save us from Obedience to His Law"... it is The Kingdom of Yahuah is at hand! So, that is where the journey begins. What is The Kingdom?

This book explains what Yahuah's Purpose is in Creating the Universe, what is the meaning and Purpose of your individual life, what is Yahusha's role and how was he prepared to serve in that role. Then, I break down the Spiritual Kingdom by comparing it to its physical counterpart.

It will open your eyes to the "reason" and "purpose", and the Scriptures will begin to come alive in a way you never thought possible. There is no substitute for a rock-solid foundation, and with THAT foundation… you will then begin to understand the details as they all begin to build in support of, and to further define... Many people have asked of me "Sha'ul, how do you come away with the understanding of Scripture that is so vastly different from others, yet so perfectly proven that it brings everything into such clarity?”

I want to address this because it is probably the most pressing issue facing all of us. We have all been taught all our lives the wrong way to study the Word of Yahuah. We are under the impression it is one big book to be read cover to cover. Then we get ourselves such things as a Yearly Bible or undertake our own effort to sit down and just read the entire Bible. Big mistake.

Or, even worse, all of us have been taught to study Scripture by employing a "sound bite" approach; where we look up Scriptures that have the same words/concepts, then build a collection of Scriptures and string them all together… then come to some type of understanding on what is "implied" by that grouping of verses etc. Even BIGGER mistake!

In recent years, as Yahuah is moving to re-establish His Word within a Hebraic standpoint, we have added to the approaches above, looking the words up in Hebrew to get a better understanding. This is a good first step, but far from bringing the Scriptures to life, so that we can overcome the false doctrines. Almost every "doctrine" floating around today is what I call a "sound bite implied lie"...

How is it, that I am able to overcome these long standing false doctrines? These false doctrines are very deceiving because when we read the "proof", we see all these Scriptures (taken out of context), seemingly, in supporting the false doctrine.

So how then, should Scripture be approached so that we are not misled and approach a doctrine that can be proven true without a doubt? Even doctrines that go against 2,000 years of deception and contradict every other teacher on Earth that teach the same old tired lies?

This book is not about Rav Sha’ul the Apostle but about what is a Nazarene. However, to understand Yahusha The Nazarene, we must overcome these false witnesses who claim “Paul is a false teacher”. Sha’ul was the most educated of all inspired writers and was chosen to be the one to explain who Yahusha was, and how he Fulfilled The Law by transposing all previous 6 Covenants from their physical state to their perfect Spiritual realities. When we get to Yahusha later in this book, our understanding comes almost exclusively from The Torah, Prophets, and then Sha’ul… who brings them all together. For that reason, I want to spend a little time defending Sha’ul overall, proving… that he was not a false teacher who taught The Pauline Doctrine. When it comes to Sha’ul, we need to understand the role he was called to play in the Kingdom of Yahuah, and that role is as an anointed teacher!

Yahusha did not come to teach in depth

Yahusha did not come to explain the Yahushaic Covenant, but to introduce a “Family” relationship to Yahuah in a much more intimate personal way than ever before! Revealing Yahuah as our Father in an ‘Adoption Covenant’ we enter into with Him, as the Bride of Yahusha (His Firstborn Son). Yahusha came to show us ‘The Way’ we all follow to Fulfill The Law and defeat death.

Yahusha Declared his ‘birthright’ as a Son of Yahuah in such a Powerful way that he was accused of blasphemy. A birthright that belongs to ALL of us as sons of Yahuah! Yahusha came to overturn traditions of man in the Talmud and restore us back to the written Instruction of Yahuah found in the Torah. In this way, Yahusha’s yoke is easy, his burden is light, because when you ignore the traditions of men (the 5,200 page Talmud) and come back to the Instruction of Yahuah, they are quite easy and simple. Then, Yahusha elevated the “letter” to “intent” further simplifying our Obedience for those mature enough to “get there”. Yahusha came to “show us the way” by walking in Obedience to the “Will of Yahuah” in the Spiritual intent (not the letter), ‘transpose’ The Law and all previous 6 Covenants to their Spiritual reality, then walk the Narrow Path on Passover demonstrating Mikveh, Circumcision, and Offering both physically and Spiritually.

It was Rav Sha’ul, then, as a ‘Doctorate in The Law’ (we call them Pharisees) who was chosen to explain all of this; and how Yahusha Fulfilled and ‘transposed’ all the physical shadows to their Spiritual truths. And now it is up to modern day anointed teachers to restore Sha’ul’s works back to their original intent, to restore back to us one of the most anointed Nazarenes who ever lived (behind only Yahusha and John the Baptist!). Sha’ul was the Leader of the Nazarenes (he had understanding) and the Nazarenes would accept him as their Leader! This speaks volumes as to what Sha’ul believed and taught.

The Apostle Sha’ul’s view of The Law: Abolished or not?

I know, what about what Sha’ul said? He clearly said The Law has been abolished. He said “Jesus” nailed it to the “cross”. He said the Torah, which came 430 years after the Promise of the seed to Abraham (Gal 3:17), was given at SINAI, and was not a permanent set of binding ordinances! Sha’ul said the new ministration of the Spirit has in fact done away with The Law! Sha’ul said The Law was nothing more than a “tutor” that we no longer need. Sha’ul said a man is justified by Faith apart from The Law! and so on and so forth go the lies of the Pauline Doctrine of the Christian Church.

Don’t worry! I answer all those objections in my book, The Law and the Pauline Doctrine. In that book, I put Sha’ul’s writing back into context, and I properly teach Sha’ul’s writings. I demonstrate that every one of the above statements is a lie.

I demonstrate that the Christian Church has taken Sha’ul’s writings out of context, translators have mishandled the Greek manuscripts, and Christianity has done everything possible to use Sha’ul to justify abolishing The Law of Yahuah.

23 so do what we tell you. There are four men with us who have made a vow. 24 Take these men, join in their purification rites, and pay their expenses, so that they can have their heads shaved. Then everybody will know there is no truth in these reports about you, but that you yourself are living in Obedience to The Law.

“But this I admit to you: I Worship the Elohim of our fathers in accordance with the Way (which they call a sect). I continue to believe everything that accords with The Torah and everything written in the Prophets.”

For Sha’ul had decided to bypass Ephesus on his voyage, in order to avoid losing time in the province of Asia, because he was hurrying to get to Jerusalem, if possible in time to celebrate Shav’uot. (Celebrate WHAT? Sha’ul went out of his way to celebrate Shav’uot which is THE CELEBRATION OF THE GIVING OF THE TORAH!)

A man named Hananyah, an observant follower of The Torah (why would he add that statement?) who was highly regarded by the entire Jewish community there, came to me, stood by me and said “Brother Sha’ul, see again!”.

Concerning zeal, persecuting the church; touching the Righteousness which is in The Law, blameless.

Sha’ul, being frustrated with the Spiritual Immaturity of believers and their total lack of Knowledge of The Torah/Law, said this:

12 For though by this time you ought to be teachers (of The Torah, there was no such thing as the ‘New Testament’ when he wrote this), you need someone to teach you again the first principles of the Oracles of Yahuah (The Torah); and you have come to need milk and not solid food. 13 For everyone who partakes only of milk is unskilled in the word of Righteousness (Righteousness is Keeping The Law so “Word of Righteousness” is The Torah), for he is a babe. 14 But solid food belongs to those who are of full age (mature Saints with minds set on Spiritual Law), that is, those who by reason of use (keeping The Feasts/Torah/Sabbaths) have their (Spiritual) senses exercised (trained through physical to Spiritual parallels) to discern both good and evil (which is defined by The Law of Yahuah, good is Obedience to His Commands, evil is breaking them).

Sha’ul encouraged the church in Colossae whom he properly taught to keep The Torah. It was a pagan community and province of Rome and they were being “judged” by their pagan neighbors for keeping The Torah. Sha’ul encouraged the keeping of The Kosher Laws/Feasts/New Moons/Sabbaths because in doing so they would learn Spiritual Truths through physical rehearsals and metaphors. Sha’ul is literally teaching the reality of learning through Physical to Spiritual parallels below:

Colossians 2
¹⁶ Therefore do not let anyone judge you by what you eat or drink (as they kept Kosher Laws), or with regard to a religious Festival (as they kept the Feast Cycles), a New Moon celebration (as they celebrated each month) or a Sabbath day (as they kept the 4^th Commandment and celebrated weekly). ¹⁷ These (things Sha’ul taught them to do, remember they were pagans not Jews) are a shadow (physical rehearsals) of the things that were to come (Spiritual Truths); the reality, however, is found in the Yahushaic Covenant.

The Christian Church (for 1,700 years) has taught the Scripture above as though Sha’ul was chastising the church for following “Judaizers”, who came after him teaching the church to keep The Torah. Like Sha’ul, was somehow mad they were keeping The Law. These “Judaizers” as I have shown were the Nazarenes. Sha’ul was, in reality, their LEADER! He was most definitely establishing his assemblies based on Torah Obedience.

The Jews were upset with Sha’ul, because he was a high-ranking Pharisee who abandoned them to follow Yahusha! They were already condemning Sha’ul for going to the Gentiles to begin with. Why would they then go after him, and take the time to follow Sha’ul around “Judaizing” a bunch of pagans. Jews do not proselytize! Not then… and not now. One of the reasons why Yahuah withdrew His blessing from them. The Jews (House of Judah) were supposed to take The Torah to the nations as His priests and have failed. The House of Israel is now carrying The Torah to the nations for them!

No, these assemblies were the Lost Sheep of the House of Israel living among the Gentiles, who had converted, and were taught by Sha’ul to keep The Torah that they, in their hearts, longed to keep. They were already displaying outwards sign of living it as it was “written on their hearts”. They were being condemned by their pagan neighbors for their “foreign behavior”. Sha’ul clearly said do not let anyone judge them for DOING these things. It is amazing how we are blinded to what is actually said in Scripture as we approach it from the bias of our “teaching” or shall I say FALSE teaching.

Could it be that the Christian Church stands in rebellion against Yahuah and His Law and has twisted Scripture to justify their Lawlessness?

Let us reveal the REAL Apostle Sha’ul, he…

·         Actually, celebrated the giving of The Law on Shav’uot.

·         Went to a Torah observant Jew to be healed from blindness

·         Pleaded with his fellow Jews that he continued to believe everything written in The Law and had done nothing to undermine it (or teach it to be abolished).

·         Said only those who obey The Law will be Declared Righteous before Yahuah.

·         Said Obedience to The Law leads to Sanctification

·         Took the Nazarite Vow (defined in The Law) and lived in Obedience to The Law.

·         Remained until his death a Torah Observant Jew

·         Was blameless in keeping The Law

·         Was a Jewish Rabbi who studied under the famous Rabbi Gamaliel

·         Was a Pharisee which today would be the equivalent of a Lawyer

I want to address the name of the Apostle. Was his name originally Sha’ul then changed by some divine mandate, to Paul, to illustrate some mythical transformation of the Pharisee Sha’ul, to a new Roman version Paul, who totally turned his back on everything he stood for his entire life, and abolished The Law?

Of course, not.

Let’s use a little common sense here, and step outside the “box” of Christianity. Let me begin with one of the greatest misconceptions floating around in modern times.

Did Yahuah change Sha’ul’s name to “Paul”?

The way it is taught in Christianity, is that Yahuah changed Sha’ul’s name to Paul (much like He changed Abram’s to Abraham) as an illustration that all that Sha’ul had stood for (His Hebrew heritage, The Law, The Sabbath, and The Holy Days) had been abolished along with his Hebrew name, in favor of a new Gospel that was appropriate to the Greeks. His new name “Paul” was (as is taught in Christianity) a new banner for a new gospel message of replacement theology.

It is interesting, to me, how far Christianity will go to make a mountain out of a mole hill (so to speak) to justify their abominations! Many times, we need to look no further that the Catholic Church’s own admissions to find the truth. Like Constantine’s life is proven to be a lie! He was a sun worshipper until his death, the Catholic Church’s own documents reveal that Constantine never became a believer in the Hebrew Faith at all! The entire story of him seeing a ‘cross in the sky’ was a myth! In fact, the Catholic Church’s documentation reveals Constantine remained a devout sun worshipper of Mithras until the day he died. Same is true with this so-called “conversion” of Sha’ul, and name change to prove it. We read the true story of this simple dual name conflict on Catholic.com. We read that Yahuah did not “change” Sha’ul’s name at all, but rather, being born a Roman Citizen (which he inherited from his father), Sha’ul was given the birth name Sha’ul, but was known by both Paulus and Sha’ul his entire life, depending on his audience and the native language the audience spoke.

“Did God change Sha’ul’s name to Paul. No, He didn't. Many mistakenly assume the Lord changed Sha’ul's name to Paul sometime after Sha’ul converted from Judaism to Christianity, which happened during his encounter with Christ on the Road to Damascus (Acts 9:1-19). Unlike the instance of Jesus changing Simon's name to Kepha (Gk. Petros) as a way of signifying the special role he would play in the Church (Mt 16:18, Jn 1:41-42), in Sha’ul's case there was no name change.

Sha’ul of Tarsus was born a Jew, "circumcised on the eight day, of the race of Israel, or the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew of Hebrew parentage, in observance of the law a Pharisee" (Phil 3:5). The Hebrew name given him by his parents was Sha’ul, but, because his father was a Roman citizen (and therefore Sha’ul inherited Roman citizenship), Sha’ul also had the Latin name Paul (Acts 16:37, 22:25-28), the custom of dual names being common in those days. Since he grew up in a strict Pharisee environment, the name Sha’ul was by far the more appropriate name to go by. But after his conversion Sha’ul determined to bring the gospel to the Gentiles, so he dusted off his Roman name and became known as Paul, a name Gentiles were accustomed to.

So, there is no “mystery” to this at all! It was quite common in the Second Temple period (since Jerusalem was a Roman province) for Hebrews to have both a Hebrew and Latin name, especially if they were born a Roman Citizen as was Sha’ul. He was 100% Hebrew, but simply born in a Roman province to his father who was already a Citizen of Rome. Sha’ul went by both names all his life, and continued to go by both names depending on the audience he was trying to reach, Sha’ul made this very clear:

1 Corinthians 9:19-23

Although I am free in regard to all, I have made myself a slave to all so as to win over as many as possible. To the Jews I became a Jew to win over Jews; to those under The Law I became like one under The Law - though I myself am not under the curse of The Law - to win over those under the Death Decrees in The Law (remain out of Covenant with Yahusha). To those outside The Law (Greeks, pagan Gentiles, Lost Sheep of the House of Israel) I became like one outside The Law. To the weak I became weak to win over the weak. I have become all things to all, to save at least some. All this I do for the sake of the Gospel, so that I too, may have a share in it.

1 Corinthians 10:33

as I also please all in all things, not seeking my own profit, but that of the many, that they may be saved.

Romans 15:1

1Now we who are strong ought to bear the weaknesses of those without strength and not just please ourselves. 2 Each of us is to please his neighbor for his good, to his edification (if they be Greeks, I go by Paul, if they be Hebrews I go by Sha’ul).…

Given the times in which Sha’ul lived, and the animosity between the Greeks and the Jews; Sha’ul simply did not want to make his task any more difficult than it already was by appearing to be Jew, so he chose to approach the Greeks in his Greek name. At the same time, approach the Jews in his Hebrew name. It is not more complicated than that!

Notice the passage in (Acts 13:9) doesn’t say, “Sha’ul, who changed his name to Paul,” but rather, “Sha’ul, who was also called Paul…” as, in addition to, not instead of. How easy has it been for the enemy to rob Sha’ul, the third greatest figure in the Yahushaic Covenant, second only to Yahusha and John the Baptist (all of whom were Nazarene Leaders), of his Jewish identity and thus confuse the nature of The Yahushaic Covenant.

The enemy has worked hard to blind the Jewish people to Yahusha. However, the Christopagan Church has helped by de-Judaizing many of the central characters of The Yahushaic Covenant.

The supposed name change is a central theme among those who would pervert Sha’ul’s message. Certainly, this was not the case in his mind as he states

Acts 28:20

“For this reason, therefore I have called for you…, because for the Hope of Israel I am bound with this chain”.

Sha’ul makes it crystal clear the REASON he was bringing the Gospel to the Gentiles. He was not suffering for a new religion, but rather he suffered for the Hope of Israel… he was a Nazarene, not a Christian. I want to set some boundaries and guidelines that will serve as a foundation from which we will approach the writings of Sha’ul. The first thing we must do, is transcend our modern language/culture matrix, and enter into the language/culture matrix of the Second Temple Period in order to put Sha’ul’s writings in THAT context, the proper context. Not a Greek context.
